Balmoral Estate is located in small village of Crathie, between the villages of Braemar and Ballater. Purchased by Prince Albert in 1852 for Queen Victoria, the estate has been the Scottish holiday home of the Royal family ever since.
“Walks, picnics, dogs — a lot of dogs, there’s always dogs — and people coming in and out all the time… it’s a lovely base…You just have room to breathe and run.”
– Princess Eugenie, on Balmoral
